I love baked goods. Baked goods also love me…well, they love to hang out on my midsection and thighs. That counts, right?
My motto when it comes to baked goods is AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I have muffins, cookies, home baked breads, scones, whatever, in my house, I will be unable to resist. So, I try to just keep my cupboards bare of such things.
But wait! There is a ray of hope! VitaTops. You know, the muffin tops that won’t give you a muffin top? One hundred delicious, fiber and protein filled calories of baked whole grain goodness.
You can walk it off in 13-15 minutes…LOVE THAT.
Just recently, Vitalicious introduced the latest VitaTop flavor – Banana Choco Chip. Let’s just say I was a little excited. I whip up some killer chocolate chip banana bread, but, as you probably have already figured out, I don’t make it anymore because I have NO SELF CONTROL.
This is why I love VitaTops so very much…not only are they super healthy, they are portion controlled. Each lovely little muffin top is individually wrapped. And since they have no preservatives, you need to freeze them to preserve freshness. So, basically, I have to work extra hard, defrosting and such, to overindulge.
Back to the Banana Choco Chip VitaTops. Do they fulfill the banana bread craving? That would be a resounding yes! Absolutely delicious, and even better fresh out of the toaster – the chocolate chips get all melty.
