The Saturday Review / Who Nu? – The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans LLC

I was doing the weekly grocery shopping I hate grocery shopping and came upon these new cookies. They are called WhoNu? nutrition rich cookies. I was pretty skeptical. How could cookies be nutrition rich and still be good? I decided the only way to find out was to buy some and give them a try.

I brought them home and set out to see if they could possibly be good tasting and good for you. The hubby and I were the official taste testers. Hubby went first and tried the sandwich cookie. I would compare it to an Oreo cookie. He’s not a big chocolate fan yes, he’s weird! but still thought they were pretty good. He thought the cream filling was excellent and the cookie was good too. I tried mine next and thought the same thing. Pretty darn close to the taste of an Oreo, but not quite as chocolatey.

Next we tried the chocolate chip cookie. I would compare this to a Chips Ahoy cookie. Hubby really liked the cookie itself, but thought it would be better without the chocolate chips. It’s that not liking chocolate thing again. I thought they were pretty good. Not a Chips Ahoy, but still pretty tastey.

Now comes the amazing part of this review. Check out the back of the box.
Can you believe this? 1. As much calcium as an 8 ounce glass of milk. 2. As much iron as a cup of spinach. 3. As much vitamin E as two cups of carrot juice. 4. As much vitamin B as a cup of cottage cheese and & fruit. 5. As much vitamin A as an 8 ounce glass of tomato juice. 6. As much vitamin C as a cup of blueberries. 7. As much fiber as a bowl of oatmeal.

To top it all off, a serving size is three cookies at 150 calories.
