Oh yes it does.
To lose weight and to maintain that weight loss.
This journey can be SO hard at times and it’s for lifetime, which is an awful-long time. I ebb and I flow, ding great, doing not so great. Sure, you can do it on your own and I have earlier in life, BUT it is a tad easier when you know a friend, a group, an online community has got your back.
Whether it’s to support you, motivate you, inspire you or give you a swift kick in the a$$ when needed.
The Sisterhood has become my village, and for that, I am so thankful.
I’ve done many of the challenges, I met and become IRL friends with some of you, I’ve become online friends with a lot of you. Some of you were the inspiration and motivation for me to start my running journey and to continue it when I got sidelined with injury. I’ve learned from you, I’ve laughed with you, I’ve exchanged ideas with you. I have read many of the posts on this site and comments, too.
But I need some help from this village of mine.
Could one of you give me the swift kick in the a$$ that I so desperately need to get back on track? Yes, I understand that I need to be motivated internally, but I also need a push, more like a SHOVE, to get back on track.
Pretty please?
