June Tune-up Challenge Week 1 – The Shrinking Jeans of Christy

I’m not even going to go back and look at my last post. I’m sure I was all motivated because I had gained weight. Blah blah blah. Motivation fizzles when life hits you with problems. BJ (son) had a very traumatic injury to his eye at the end of April, and it sent me straight into a tailspin. Somehow I lost the momentum I had and gained back the weight I had lost and then some. But you know what? That’s okay. I knew eventually I would find my way back here, and I have.

I’m coming off a 1o-day driving trip to Walt Disney World. Need I say more? Gah. As much walking as you do there, you’d think it would give you license to eat everything. Right? Well, apparently it doesn’t!

I’m teaming up with Heather (@mama_sass) and we’re calling ourselves Desperately Seeking Collarbones. Yo.

This will be my first official weigh-in *cringe*.

June 6, 2012: 151.4 pounds.

Every one of those extra pounds can suck it. I’m on a mission to get rid of at least 15 and maybe more of them. And I also need to get myself back into the workout routine. That little accident my son had derailed my bootcamp because his dr. appointments are always on T-Th and that happens to be the day of bootcamp. Yeah, we still have appointments, but my DVD player works, and I have a slew of DVDs I can do when I can’t make it to bootcamp. Also, my legs still work and I have running shoes, so there’s that!

Watch out collarbones. I’m coming for ya.
