June Tune-Up – Week One! – The Shrinking Jeans of Melissa

Wow, it has been a loooooong time since I wrote here. *Blowing off the dust*

I am excited for this challenge! I have an awesome partner *hey, Misty!* and am off to a good start! I have started using MyFitnessPal to log my foods and it is a really great app. One of my favorites! I’m lissajoy14 if you want to add me!

I started off this challenge at 217.2 lbs.

Today, I am 216. Not a huge loss, but I will take it!

On Sunday, I finished my fourth 1/2 marathon! Definitely wasn’t my best performance, but considering I was an epic fail on the training end of it, just finishing was a miracle in itself! I could barely walk afterwards, and the following day, but today I am feeling great! Just some squishy blisters covering the bottom of my foot –my muscles are feeling awesome! I am motivated to keep on working out and eating well!

The big test will come next week… we are heading to Florida for a family vacation. The Island Cow and fried pickles and margaritas are going to be calling me. I know it. Hopefully, I can offset the delicious food by exercising and enjoying the goodness in moderation!
