I don’t know about everyone else, but one of my biggest challenges when it comes to healthy eating is avoiding the dreaded food boredom. You know, that rut one can easily fall into by eating the same things week in and week out.
So, what’s a shrinker to do? We turn to the interwebs and scrounge Pinterest (are you following us?) and all the cooking websites we can find looking for inspiration. Instead, what we often find are recipes that either don’t fit into our healthy eating plan, have exotic ingredients that aren’t locally available, or simply just require far more time to prepare than is realistic with our busy lifestyles.
Here’s where the Sisterhood come to the rescue! As you may already know, we launched a new sister site several months ago called Shrinking Kitchen. It’s an awesome resource for healthy recipes that can fit into nearly any eating plan one might be following. On top of that, the recipes are generally made with ingredients everyone should be able to easily find and they won’t take all day to prepare! Heather is the editor over at Shrinking Kitchen and she’s doing such an amazing job with it! She totally rocks!
Up to this point, all of the recipes have been coming from us. Well, now it’s your turn! Shrinking Kitchen is introducing a new feature this week called the Cook & Tell Healthy Recipe Link-Up. It’s a chance for each of you to link-up your favorite recipe(s) that you’ve posted on your own blog. How cool is that?!
