Wakey wakey eggs and nakey!
Nope that wasnt a typo, it is time, girlfriend. Time to wake up, get nakey and step on the scale! (Unless of course you’re a clothing weigher, either way don’t let me stand in your way, head on over and git ‘er done!)
That wasn’t so bad was it?
There was a time when I didn’t weigh myself.
And then there was a time I started weighing myself obsessively.
Then there was a time I backed off and was ok with an average ballpark figure. A range in which I knew if the number creeped out of that range I’d need to start putting down the 5 Guys.
It’s probably the healthiest relationship I’ve had yet with my scale and it took years to develop. Now, I get a little angry at it because the average ballpark figure has indeed creeped up out of my “range” as my exercise level scaled back but I want the scale to know that I’m aware of this issue and I’m working on it.
Anyhoo, we’ve got some cool things going on here! First of all there’s “Mindful September” where every day this month, we get just one task to do that helps us stop and smell the roses. Today, it’s compliment a friend.
