Good morning shrinkers! How are you doing this fine Fall morning?
I only have a few minutes (because HELLO I waited to the last minute), so let’s get to it! How are you doing with your weight loss journey this week? Did the cooler weather spur you to get outside more?
Personally right now, I’m holding steady, which isn’t ideal, but it’s a lot better than the alternative! The coming weeks and months will hold lots of activity and stress for me, so I know that now is the time to get my head straight and my body in a routine! And what better way to get in a routine than sign up for a 1/2 marathon? Seriously! You should try it!
Knowing that I have that race on the calendar makes me take my scheduled runs more seriously. Heck, it makes me take all of my workouts more seriously, because I know that I’ll be hurting on race day if I don’t do what I’m supposed to do now!
So tell me, how do you keep yourself motivated when you know you’ve got a stressful time coming?
How would you feel about an upcoming weight loss challenge? Are you up for it?
