Happy Wednesday, Shrinkers!! Can you believe we’re already 3 weeks in to this fabulous 2014 new year’s weight loss challenge? It’s time to step gingerly on to that scale and see the fantastic (hopefully SMALLER) number in store for you this week! If you’re a blogger, please blog and share your link in the comments. Last week’s mini-challenge was to put together a menu plan for a week and follow it! Did you follow through? Did you stick with it? How did it go?
This week’s challenge is to get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep every night this week. SEVEN. MINIMUM. Eight would be ideal. That means lights out, eyes closed….and no, sitting in bed reading does not count as sleeping! Did you know that sleeping can really affect your weight loss efforts? You might not realize it, but chronic sleep deprivation can cause a whole host of problems, one of which is weight gain, and difficult weight loss.
So put some fresh sheets on your bed, get out your coziest pajamas, and snuggle up early tonight. If you live in the US and are covered in the polar vortex, you don’t have anywhere to go anyway 🙂 #yawn
Run The ‘Hood Shamrock Shuffle Virtual Race
Are you ready for the luckiest race of the year? One filled with rainbows and gold and clovers? We are going IRISH with our Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K/Fun Run! Who knows… Maybe you will find a pot of gold at the finish line!
