Today is the final check-in for our New Year’s Weight Loss Challenge. It’s been EIGHT weeks! Can you believe it? I don’t know whether to pump my fist in the air because I’ve lost weight and been successful, or cry because the year is flying by so fast already!
So go jump on your scale and tell us what the final number is. How much did you lose this week? How much did you lose overall? Did you take before and after measurements or pictures? Share them with us! We want to hear about all of your non-scale victories (NSV) as well. Are you jeans loose? Have you shrunk down to a smaller size? Even if you didn’t lose as much as you wanted, that’s okay, you made it through this challenge and you didn’t give up, and that makes you a winner…..and a loser 😉
This challenge has been an amazing success and we’re so glad you were along for the ride. If you missed this challenge or you’re down in the dumps because it’s over, never fear, because we have another awesome challenge starting up in TWO WEEKS! YES!!!
The next challenge will be super-awesome because it’s a team challenge. You will get to form your very own dream team of shrinkers to compete against other teams.
Here’s what you need to do now:
- Form a team of up to (but not more than) 5 members. So you can have 2 members, 3, 4, or 5. But not 6. Get it?
- Who can be on your team? Anyone! Your mother, sister, brother, husband, neighbor, BFF, online friends, people you meet in line at the grocery store. It’s all up to you.
- What do you need to do? Rally your team, and on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, you’ll all need to check in on the kick-off post for the new challenge.**
- Do you have to have a team? Heck no! You can join in on your own, but it is much more fun if you other people on your team. I promise.
**Don’t worry, more details will be available next week. We just wanted to give you a big heads up so you could get to work on your team!
So do me a favor, just because we’re not having a challenge over the next 2 weeks doesn’t mean you can quit working hard and losing weight. Oh heck, no!!! You keep up the hard work and lose weight, and be sure to check in here next week on Wednesday where we’ll still have a check-in post. We’re totally not letting you off the hook 🙂
