Tag- You’re It!

One of the greatest strengths of this community is the SISTERHOOD we build with each other.  We have seen a ton of growth lately which is awesome, but which also leads to me NOT knowing so many of you (and maybe you not knowing me, too).  What grabbed me and kept my attention in the beginning and through the years were those bonds and relationships I forged through the interwebs.

We have done this before and it’s time to do it again- a *get to know you* meme.  I ask 10 questions, you provide 10 answers.

How did you find the Sisterhood? 5.5 years ago, my friend Christy told me about this site she was creating with another friend, Melissa and would I be interested in writing posts for that site.  The site was called The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans.  I had just birthed my third baby and wasn’t quite ready to lose weight.  Once I was, I jumped on board and the rest is history!
  3. What is your biggest strength? my positive attitude
  4. What is your biggest weakness? taking on too much, time management, not saying *no* more often
  5. What do you like best about your body and why? my runner legs : )
  6. What do you like least about your body and why? oh goodness, I know my stomach pooch housed three beautiful babies BUT man oh man, I wish it wasn’t still so squishy!!!
  7. What is your favorite type of exercise? RUNNING
  8. Have you noticed any improvements (physically, mentally, or else) since finding us? Oh gosh yes. While I have lost weight and firmed up my body, the biggest improvement is that I have become more mentally strong than I ever thought possible.
  9. If you could travel anywhere in the world without thinking about cost nor time, where would you go?  I would love a destination running race- the further away, the better.  There are so many countries I have not visited and to see it while running a race would be uber cool.  A close second would be an all expenses paid trip for my family of five to Walt Disney World- have you guys seen how much it costs to *do* Disney?!!!
  10. What’s a really good book you have read recently and what is one that you would like to read?  Sycamore Row by John Grisham (read already- two thumbs up!); want to read 4:09:43: Boston 2013 Through the Eyes of the Runners
