HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY weigh in day, shrinkers! And welcome to April! WOW, where has this time gone? Already 1 quarter of the way through 2014 – are you getting closer to your goals you set for yourself? Well, we’re so glad you’re here and part of our fantastic Spring Into Action weight loss challenge.
Weight Loss Challenge
So, how has your week been? Have you had a chance to hop on the scale this morning and see a fantastic new number? A number that’s smaller than the last number you saw? A number that’s just a tad bit closer to the goal you’ve set? We sure hope so. I know I’ve personally struggled over the past 8 weeks. I’ve had a foot injury that’s had me sidelined from running and any meaningful cardio. I am proud to say, however, that I haven’t gained a pound….. but I also haven’t really lost any either. Hopefully that’s all going to change now, because I’m finally on the road to recovery, and able get my heart pumping! WOOT!
And how are you doing with your team? Are y’all sticking together and keeping each other in check and on track? I love seeing your posts on our Facebook group, and hearing about how you’re staying motivated each week.
Last week I challenged you to step out of your comfort zone! How did it go? Did you jump into a new class at the gym, or maybe try something you’ve never eaten before? Tell me all about it, because I love hearing about the new things you’ve tried. I really enjoyed seeing people post on Facebook this week when they tried new things like Zumba and yoga!
This week I am challenging you to NOT WEIGH YOURSELF again until next Wednesday. Say whaaaaaaaaaat? Yeah, you read that right. If you’re anything like me, you jump on the scale first thing in the morning, after lunch, before bed, and maybe even in the middle of the freaking night. Let’s face it, weighing that often isn’t really doing anything but frustrating you and making you a little obsessive. It’s time for a scale break. So after you do your weigh in this morning, put that sucker away, far far away, in the recesses of your closet. Or, if you don’t think that will work, send it to work with your husband, or ask your best friend to hold it for you. Whatever you have to do, there will be NO WEIGHING this week. Got it? Okay, pinky swear right now that you’ll stay away from the scale!
