I am so excited to write this post. I picked a Tuesday this month because I knew I would have something to be happy about.
On April 30, I finished being over 10,000 steps every day on my Fitbit for a full month. Now, I am committed to Streaking Through May. As I type this post, I have 15, 386 steps on my Fitbit and I haven’t even walked my mile yet. I love that the weather has finally warmed up here in northwest Indiana and I can walk outside again. I’m excited to be able to use my Charity Miles app again too. I was beginning to feel like a hamster on a wheel on that treadmill. Being able to walk outside has really helped my Every Move numbers too.
Two of my friends from high school became my friends on Fitbit this past week. Boy, did that start some healthy competition. It was the first time in many weeks that I haven’t been in first place among my friends. Don took that spot from me. Not by a lot, but he beat me. That will not happen this week!
