My Top Ten Fitness Affirmations | The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans LLC


I love quotes. I love sayings and affirmations. I love reading little tidbits that inspire me to keep going. Is anyone else like that? I’m guessing that some of you are the same way. I decided to share my favorite top ten fitness affirmations with you. I hope they inspire you too.

1. Don’t look back. You’re not going that way!

2. Believe you can and you’re halfway there.

3. The only one holding you back is you.

4. I can and I will. Watch me!

5. You have a choice. You can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face.

6. Don’t start a diet that has an expiration date. Focus on a lifestyle change that will last forever.

7. No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch.

8. I already know what giving up feels like. I want to see what happens if I don’t.

9. I may not be the strongest. I may not be the fastest. But, I’ll be damned if I’m not trying my hardest.

10. It is never too late to be what you might have been. It is your life. Make it great!

I can go weeks and never even think about these. Then there are weeks when I read them several times a day. Hopefully, they’ll help you sometimes too. We are all in this together. Remember that we didn’t put the weight on overnight. It’s not going to come off overnight either. We have to put in the work and it’s going to be hard, but we can do it!
