It’s time for Motivation Monday! This past week one of the most motivational, and inspirational women in recent history passed away. Maya Angelou was motivating us to better ourselves in one way or another in every thing she said or did. She was an inspiration to men and women around the world. Today I want us to read and take to heart some of her most motivational quotes. They will lead us to be better people in all areas of our life!

Some of you might be thinking “what do these things have to do with health and fitness?” I believe that our health and fitness begins with our attitude. If we are down and depressed about life in general we can’t focus on our health and fitness. If we have nothing positive in our life to look to we start looking at things in a negative light, which causes our health to deteriorate. I believe that all of these quotes by the beloved Maya Angelou speak to us in many positive ways that will help us throughout time. She will be missed by so many! Rest In Peace, Ms. Angelou!
