I’m excited for today. Much better than my last Tuesday post when I had to do a True Confession. Today, it is a definite Toot Your Horn Tuesday!!
If you remember back to my post last week about our former writer Donya and her amazing journey to weight loss and fitness, I told you that I was starting the Focus T25 program. Donya is my coach and I was very excited to start.
The week has gone really well. I have been getting up at 5:15 a.m. to get my workout in before work. I’ve walked most days after work. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time for the six and seven mile walks I was doing in the summer when I was off work, but I figure any walk is better than no walk. I’ve done well with my eating too with the exception of Sunday when all the kids were here for a birthday party. I may have had a few Bacardi and cokes.
Here comes the tooting of my horn. I weighed and measured to see what happened this week. I lost 1.2 pounds and 2 1/2 inches. I forgot to weigh and measure in the morning, so these could be off a little bit. Whatever the case, they both went down and I’m good with that. I’m hoping next week, the losses will be bigger.
