It’s time for another installment of the 2014 Holiday Gift Guide for the Runner Sneak Peek: Another Mother Runner and RooSport!  While our gift guide is geared towards mainly runners, you certainly don’t have to be a runner to love the products we are discussing and giving away.

If you are a runner, and particularly a Bad@$$ Mother Runner, you will love what Sarah and Dimity from Another Mother Runner have given me to give to one of you as part of our 2014 Holiday Gift Guide.   The mission of Another Mother Runner goes far beyond wanting to sell books and really fun shirts and whatnot.  Sarah Bowen Shea and Dimity McDowell have created an amazing virtual aide station – an AMR Tribe – that is akin to hanging out with your best running friends and discussing everything from hills and husbands to TMI on your runs.  You don’t have to be a mother to be a member of the tribe as so much of their advice and strategies will work for anyone trying to find the balance to staying healthy given all of our other commitments in life.  You can find Another Mother Runner all over the web – on their website, Facebook and Twitter – as well as their online store and podcasts.  I’ve gotten to know Sarah and Dimity by working as one of their ambassadors and Wo-man – ing for them at a couple race expos.  You will love what they have offered for one of our lucky readers to win when the 2014 Holiday Gift Guide for the Runner comes out around Thanksgiving.  The winner will receive copy of both of their books, Train Like a Mother and Run Like a Mother, as well as a Don’t Think, Just Go headband from Sweatybands.  (value approximately $40) Thanks, Sarah and Dimity!

The next item I get to share with you today is The RooSport!  This is the first, original magnetic pocket that allows you to go hands-free on your runs, or wherever life may take you.  The RooSport has a zippered pocket for your keys and cards, plus a large inside pocket for your phone (my iPhone 5s inside it’s extra battery case fits perfectly) and an easy access pouch for things like gels.  A strong magnet attaches The RooSport to the waistband of your shorts or capris.  It’s the perfect solution for when you want to go for a short run and don’t want to carry your phone in your hands.  The RooSport is also large enough to carry several gels, your car key and an ID for longer runs.  I can even see using mine when going out or traveling.  Even a passport will fit inside.  RooSport has generously offered three RooSport pouches to give away as part of our 2014 Holiday Gift Guide for Runners. The RooSport sells for $19.99 for a small and $24.99 for a large (the size I have).  You can find The RooSport here as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

Make sure you check back with us for more sneak peeks and to enter to win these great items from Another Mother Runner and The RooSport!
