Happy check-in day, Shrinkers! It’s time to see how we did this past week, so strip down to your birthday suit (you know you weigh-in naked!) and step on that scale. If you had a loss this week that’s great; if not, don’t get upset. Remember, we count all the accomplishments we had throughout the week, not just pounds lost.

This week I lost my Fitbit somewhere in my house. Have you heard the saying that if you didn’t log your exercise and post it to Facebook that it actually didn’t happen? Well, that’s not true of course, but I do feel a little off when I’m not able to see my progress for the week and get that pat on the back from my online friends. Besides my husband and my kids, my online friends are my major motivators, and this week I didn’t feel like I had anyone holding me accountable. Maybe I should go gadget and app free for a while, this way I can learn to pat my own back and rely less on others?!
Am I the only one who feels this way?
