Running Away or Running Towards

0

Are you running away or running towards something? I use the word running but only in the figurative sense as I completely understand everyone has chosen for themselves what they are committed to right now.

Some are running with Couch to 5K, some are doing strength exercises,  some are CIZE’ing it up, and some are doing different fitness routines all together. Some are starting fresh and some are continuing on their journey to health.

But I want to know,  are you running away or running towards something? What do I mean by that?

Are you running away from being overweight? Are you running away from bad nutritional choices? Are you running away from problems in your life? Are you running away from this,  that,  and the other?

OR

Are you running towards a healthy weight?  Are you running towards making healthy food choices?  Are you running towards managing life’s problems as best as you can?  Are you running towards making goals and taking the steps necessary to achieve those goals one step at a time?

Look. I know it’s hard. Believe me, I KNOW THIS HEALTH AND FITNESS JOURNEY IS H-A-R-D. It can be overwhelming and daunting. You very well may want to run away from all of it, ignore it, or pretend *it* will get better without you doing anything about it.

It won’t.

You have to make that goal, whatever it may be. Write it down, share it if you like,  and then RUN TOWARDS IT.  You have to work at achieving your goals, big or small.

So tell me, are you running away from something or running towards something?  What is that goal you want to work at achieving?
