I’m working on losing my muffin top….Are you?

This will be a short post- I am so incredibly crazy busy today.  I think I’ll do this “bullet-style”.

  • This is Week 7 of our Shrink Into Summer Challenge- there is only ONE week left.  How are you doing?  Are you nearing your goals for this challenge?  Are you ready to make that final PUSH to next week’s weigh-in?
  • Quite a few of us have decided to take on Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for a second round (Wahoo!), some are doing it for the first time.  Isn’t she the best?  Don’t you love to hate her?  I do.  Even though this is my second round, my body still hurts like it’s the first round- what’s up with that?!
  • Did you lose weight this past week?  Have you even weighed yourself yet?  Just get the agony over with and step on the scale!  Post how you are doing on personal blog, then come back here and leave a link in the comments section.

Awhile back, we were given the chance to review a great product called ToeSox.

Amanda, also known as ADub, fell in love with my pair and stole them. Well, okay, I gave them to her, because I couldn’t bear to see her cry. Really, I think she might have hurt me if I didn’t give them to her. But I digress!

Shall we talk about freedom? No, no, I don’t mean fries! I mean, toe freedom. Yes, I want to talk about my toes. And socks. I love socks. Nice, clean, new socks. Seriously, I might have issues. BUT, I have found my sock people- they are having a foot revolution over at ToeSox. Toe sox? Yes, they are socks that wear like gloves for your feet. They are made from 100% organic cotton and they give your toes the love they deserve. The ones I’m wearing are made for yoga, Pilates and my personal favorite, lounging around. They are pink and have pink tread on the bottom to give you extra grip on the floor and stability while doing any of the balance challenging positions of yoga or Pilates. What does that mean? I know what you are thinking- But, Amanda, doesn’t it feel weird with the toe hugging? Of course it does! But, only at first. In no time, I was loving the toe hugging! It feels good and it actually makes my toes feel more relaxed. My feet stay toasty warm without sweating between my little piggies. You can wear them with sandals, and they also make socks without tread for wearing with sneakers. (That sounds cramped, but it actually allows your toes to spread out and work more muscles in your feet.  Nobody wants to leave the foot muscles out!) The newest addition to the family is the Half-ToeSox. I cannot wait for those to arrive. It’s time to liberate your feet, people!

 It’s Week 6 of our Shrink Into Summer challenge! 

How are you doing?  Are you SHRINKING?  Exercising?  Eating right?

I know that for me, I am in this for the long haul.  I’m all about the journey, not the end destination.  And while my journey is crawling along at a snails pace and sometimes I get distracted by that bag of Doritos over here (Hi bag of chips!  How I love you so.) or I get sidetracked by that pulled muscle in my back (Hello pulled muscle in my back.  Please go away right now.),  I am staying true to my course and not throwing in the towel.  If I have a bad day, I call it just that- a BAD DAY.  The next morning, I get back on track.

And so can you.

Yesterday was Day 30 of Shredding and THE END.  BUT lucky us- we’re going to do it all over again- yippee!  AGAIN?  You ask.  Oh yes, AGAIN.  So many of us have noticed a huge difference in our bodies from the first 30 days, so many of you didn’t join us the first time or have requested that we do it once again and YES, YES, YES, we will all get to see MORE of Jillian Michaels.    Maybe by the end of this 2nd set of 30 days, my body will look like Natalie’s. 

Maybe not.

Recently, Kellogg’s approached the Sisterhood and asked us to take the All Bran 10 Day Promise challenge! Since we’re always looking for ways to improve our diets, we happily agreed to load up on fiber and report back to y’all on how it makes us feel!

Can you believe we’re halfway through the Shrink Into Summer challenge? Yes, it’s true, we have 4 weeks left! Four whole weeks to meet your goal, and you can do it!
