Can you believe we’re halfway through the Shrink Into Summer challenge? Yes, it’s true, we have 4 weeks left! Four whole weeks to meet your goal, and you can do it!
You know the drill! Hop on your scales, blog all about it, and come back here with your link. Did you struggle this week? Did you triumph? Tell us how you’re doing. Be real, be honest. This journey is hard on so many levels-physically, mentally, emotionally-and it’s important to keep a journal of how you feel each week so you can go back and realize what’s worked for you and what hasn’t.
Are you Shredding with the Sisterhood? If you are, how are you feeling? We’re now on Level 2, Day 8 and quickly approaching Level 3! Even if you didn’t join us from the beginning, it’s never to late to start the 30-Day Shred. It’s a life changing workout, and you’ll never be sorry you tried it. You might be sore, but not be sorry.

We are three weeks deep into our Shrink into Summer challenge! Have you been seeing the results you hoped for? Are your jeans feeling looser?
Let’s get the business part over with… you know the drill. Step on your scale, look at number, step off your scale. Come back here and share your results! We want to know how you are doing! Write a post on your blog… share your goals, hopes, struggles, workouts, whatever you want! If you don’t blog, just leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Yo, yo, yo Sisters and Brothers! We’ve made it through the second week of the Shrink Into Summer challenge!! How do you feel? Are you shrinking yet? Are you ready to don a bikini and hit the beach? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe never.
So much has been going on this past week here at the Sisterhood. We have been hopping with new posts, new challenges, new recipes and new sisters. It is so exciting, isn’t it?
Before I get to all the “reminders”, let’s get down to the business at hand. It’s our favorite day of the week: weigh-in day. Go jump on that scale (isn’t this fun?!) and come back and share with us how you are doing. Leave your results in the comments and write a post on your personal blog sharing you struggles, your successes, your thoughts….ANYTHING. Make sure to come back and leave the link, though. We want to read all about it!
To sweeten the weigh-in pot, everyone that weighs in will automatically be entered to win a Sansa Clip MP3 player. I have one of these myself and I absolutely love it. My favorite features include:
- it’s size- small and compact
- you can “clip” it on to your shirt or shorts during workouts
- it has good sound quality through earbuds

- Lastly, are you getting your SHRED on? We sisters and brothers are SHREDDING the inches away with Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. Today is Day 3. How is it going for you? Do your arms feel like they are going to fall off? What about your legs? Are you loving this exercise? Hating it? Loving to hate it? Stay with us- keep on going. Keep on doing it. Shred your unwanted pounds away.

Cockadoodledooooooo! Wake up sleepy heads! It’s Wednesday morning and time to weigh-in with the Sisterhood! It’s our first official weigh-in for the Shrink Into Summer challenge. Quick, go potty and the hop on your scales! How did you do? Did you shrink this week? We hope so!
Oh my, it’s been a busy week around here! And you realize it’s April Fool’s Day, right? Well, there ain’t no foolin’ going on around here. Lots’s of other good stuff though!
- Did you see all of our new Sisters? Yes, we have that many new members of the Sisterhood! WOW!
- Did you get a load of our first mini-challenge? Oh yes, we’ve got some mad hula skillz around here. Join us and hula! It’s not too late since the challenge runs until Saturday at midnight. And there is a fabulous prize!
- Speaking of prizes, we’ve pulled out all the stops for our next mini-(well, not quite so mini) challenge! We’re giving away 7 copies of Jillian Michael’s 30-Day Shred to 7 lucky readers. I know!!!! What’s up ladies (and one lonely man)?!!!!
Warm weather is popping up here, and there and everywhere. Before you know it, bathing suit season will be upon us! Don’t you just love wearing a bathing suit in a public place? I need a suit that brings the “girls” to attention, minimizes my tummy area, and somehow, somehow eliminates the cottage cheese (I mean cellulite) hanging on my legs. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
In the meantime, our new weight loss challenge for the Sisterhood begins today. Shrink Into Summer. The challenge will run from March 25 (today) – May 20. EIGHT WHOLE WEEKS! If you’re new to the Sisterhood, you can check out information on how our challenges work here.
Make sure you weigh-in with the Sisterhood every Wednesday, because you’ll be eligible to win some very cool prizes! That’s right, every week of this challenge we’ll be randomly selecting one of you to win some fabulous prizes! See over there on the sidebar? That’s a list of all of our generous prize sponsors for this challenge! Winners will be selected from the Wednesday Weigh-In comments and announced on Thursdays.
In addition to the normal Wednesday Weigh-ins, we will also be giving you a weekly mini-challenge to participate in, something to focus on and strive for. Make sure to check back in on Sunday for details of the first weekly mini-challenge. Each mini-challenge will run from Sunday to Saturday, and some of them will also involve prizes! See, we’re gettin’ all gifty on ya!

Our Kiss Me, I’m Shrinking! challenge is coming to a screeching halt today! We kept this one short and sweet! Did you shrink? Did you get kissed? We want to know! The writers at Shrinking Jeans want your input… Do you like shorter challenges or would you rather they be longer? What is your “ideal” challenge?
You know how we roll… write up your blog post revealing how you did on the weight loss front this week, comment below, and leave a link to your post. If you don’t blog, no problem, just leave your story in the comments! ALSO, since this is the end of the challenge, make sure you include your TOTAL weight loss for the ENTIRE challenge! Week two of the Kiss Me, I’m Shrinking challenge -DONE! How did you do? Are you kicking some butt or have you fallen off the wagon a bit? I recently had the opportunity to review the Sunlight Tee. I was so happy to see that it was a longer length; I have had so many problems with “too-short” workout tops. It fit great and was very comfortable. The mint jewel color is lovely too! I would highly recommend this shirt for anyone -it is also offered in their Maternity line!
The girls at BornFit have been busy putting out their new Spring clothing line, and the pieces are oh-so-cute! I have a feeling I will be purchasing an item or two!

Are you shrinking yet? Are you ready to be kissed?!
It’s Weigh-In Wednesday and Week 1 of our “Kiss Me, I’m Shrinking” Challenge. This challenge is only three weeks long- it’s more of a sprint! How are you doing? Are you eating right? Exercising when you can? Have you faced any personal challenges that are attempting to sabatoge your goal? Share with us what you will (weight last week, weight this week, loss/gain) and let the Sisters support and encourage you.

What constitutes a serving?
In general, ½ cup of vegetables, fruits and juices is a serving. One cup of leafy greens such as lettuce, and ¼ of dried fruit is a serving. For whole fruits, a small to medium piece would count as one serving.
Do you think you are up to it? Can you do it? We have all heard since gradeschool how good fruits and veggies are for you, but if you are like me, you struggle every day to get those nutrients in. I’m challenging you just as much as I am challenging myself.
5 in 5 (with two freebie days).

Hello girls and boy! Are you ready for a new challenge here at the Sisterhood?
Can I hear a ‘hell YEAH’ or ‘heck YEAH’ or whatever your comfortable shouting at the top of your lungs!!?
I know we’re ready, and this one’s going to be fast and furious!
The new challenge is called: Kiss Me, I’m Shrinking and will start today and end on March 18th, the day after St. Patty’s Day! Yes, it’s only 3 weeks! Hopefully the fast pace of this challenge will keep you motivated and on top of your program. There’s no time to slack, girls (and boy), so lace up your tennis shoes, and let’s get shrinking!
Grab a new challenge button here (aren’t they fantastic!), slap it on your blog, or Facebook page, or MySpace site, or just print it out and slap it on your fridge. Then, jump on your scale, blog all about it, and leave a comment letting us know your starting weight.
Later today, we’ll announce our biggest shrinker for the Looking Fine for Valentine’s Day challenge. Be sure to check out the fabulous interview and oh-so-special button she’s been graced with.

All right ladies and gentleman today is the last weigh in day for our Looking Fine for Valentine’s Challenge here at the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. How did you all do? I’m hoping each and everyone of you were looking fine not only for your sweetie, but that you are now feeling good for yourself.
You all know the drill by now, right? Go grab your scale, talk nice to it and step on. Record your weight for the week and your total loss for the entire challenge and slap it up nice and proud on your blog. (if you don’t have one, that’s fine, put it here) Then leave your blog link in the comments. Your final weigh in should look like this:
Starting weight: 200
Ending weight: 190
Total loss: -10#
Have you lost weight?? Don’t forget to grab your pretty down with the sisterhood buttons!!!

Good morning (or afternoon) everyone!! How are you? Did you do okay this week, or are you losing steam? We’ve noticed that lots of you haven’t been weighing in and we wonder if it’s because you’re not doing so good and you just don’t want to tell. Listen, we all have bad days, weeks, heck, even months. And it’s okay. But you have to get back on track and part of staying on track is weighing in and checking in! If it’s not good, we’ll give you the support and encouragement you need to keep going, to turn it around. So come on, weigh-in and let us know where you are. Post on your blog, come back here, and leave your link. We WANT to support you!!
With that being said, we’ve decided it’s time for a little pre-Spring Cleaning here at The Sisterhood. We’re taking a blogroll-call of sorts. We want to know who’s around and who has fled the scene. Only two weeks left of the Looking Fine for Valentines challenge! How are you doing? Have you hit a slump or are you kicking it into high gear? Are you on track to meet your personal goal you set at the beginning of this journey?
Don’t worry if you’re not quite where you had hoped to be at this point. We still have two weeks left to shrink our jeans. Let’s get motivated and FINISH STRONG. We are so proud at how far several of you have come! Can you say amazing?!
We’ve got good things in store for you this month. Did you know it is Women’s Heart Health month? Show you care by wearing red on February 6th. Heck, if you are feeling all wild and crazy, take a photo of yourself and add it to our Flickr group! We are going to continue to focus on heart-healthy activities and foods. We are going to be having some fabulous giveaways coming up during the month of February as well and are so excited to offer you these chances to walk away with new products!

We are officially half way through the Looking Fine for Valentine’s Challenge! Three weeks down, three to go. You are doing so great, and we really appreciate all the comments you’re leaving on our site. We strive everyday to bring you more. More information, more support, more motivation, more giveaways, more recipes, and more of us! In this case, more equals less, of YOU!
Another great person has joined the Shrinking Jeans team as well! Lisa, who’s been writing Mondays with Lisa for the past couple of months, has decided she’s ready to get down and dirty with us. Please make sure to give her a warm welcome if you haven’t already!
