Happy Day One Challenge Day!!!

I did it. I made it back to the gym this morning. I’ve only been gone a week and a half, but I had the dread and nerves like I did in the beginning. Morning came way too fast today. I awoke with heavy eyelids and if it would have been up to me and BB, we would have just crawled back into bed and skipped school AND the gym. But Sasa said NO WAY and made us start our day. Obviously, he is the responsible twin!

I felt like I was going to puke after I was done with my 30 minutes on the elliptical! I didn’t though and did 20 on the bike and 30 minutes on weights. Megan and I did weights together and it makes it so much more enjoyable when there is someone to talk to. The time flies!!

I feel so much better after exercising. Did I just say that?? I am going to try and get to the gym 4 more times this week. My husband is coming home today for -get this- TWO weeks off. This is going to be the ultimate test, as I have a tendency to slack on the exercise when he is home. I am going to need all the encouragement I can get!

I opened my email to find several more people signing up for the challenge! I will update the blogroll shortly and I am so excited to get to know all of you better on this journey!
