Today, I thought I was going to die.

Or at least lay down on the floor and go to sleep.

For me, today (Day 13, I think) was the most difficult day.

My muscles are sore and tired.

My body is tired.

My eyes are tired.

I slept 8-9 hours last night.

But I am physically exhausted.

What didn’t help matters was having an audience of a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old.

The 3 yr old kept getting too close to me as he tried to do the exercises.

He was mighty cute doing the high knee raises.

No surprise, he could do them higher and faster than me, ha ha.

The 5 yr old would not stop talking and asking me questions.

I kept reminding her to please NOT talk to me and ask me questions as I gasped for air.

Mommy, that looks hard.  Mommy, you are sweating.  Mommy, I can’t do that.  Mommy, why do you sweat?  Mommy, why are you exercising.  Mommy, are you almost done?

OMG.  A little distracting.

But she too looked mighty cute doing squat pesses (no weights).

Anyway, I pushed on through and finished the damn exercise today but my body, my body feels like it’s been run over by a mack truck.

However, my clothes are fitting better and dare I say that I am close to going down a dress size?  Have ya’ll noticed that Not All Clothes Are Created Equal?!

How are you guys doing?  Was today easier, harder, the same?  Is Jillian Michaels the devil?  Will this ever NOT hurt?

We are almost halfway done- Yippee!  Although, I have already started thinking….what do I do AFTER the 30 Day Shred?  Thoughts, anyone?  When you feel like giving up (like I did today), DON’T.  Just push on through the tiredness and the soreness.  Take a short 5-10 second break during the video if you need to but KEEP GOING.  Our bodies aren’t used to this kind of exercise (at least mine isn’t).  we’re in this together and I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s successes.

Do you have a success that you would like to share?
