MGD Light 64

This is one of my new favorite beers! I am usually a BudLight Lime type of girl, or my other fave -Michelob Ultra Orange Tuscan Grapefruit. I saw an advertisement for MGD Light 64 and was like, NO WAY! Only 64 calories and 2.4 carbs? For that, I will give it a try. And guess what people? It’s not bad at all, I think it tastes rather refreshing and light.

Pretend I drink 4 beers. Not that I would ever drink more than one, just sayin’. Four MGD 64s = 256 calories. Four BL Limes = 464 calories. I would have just saved myself 208 calories. (If I did my math right in my head)

MGD Light 64, where have you been my whole adult life? I love you.

    Yeah, um, about your math…you're right!! ;o) And I'm sold on those numbers, I'll try it next. Can't promise that I'll like it, but for 64 calories, how can I not?

    Thanks for sharing! I am also a budlight lime kinda girl! I saw the commercial for MGD 64 and wondered if it was any good….guess you just convinced me to buy some this weekend :) lol.

    So I kept meaning to tell you… 2 weeks ago I strutted into my local lq and marched confidently back to the beer aisle. Where I stood and stood and stared and was puzzled as to why I couldn't find MGD64. I almost left to go to a bigger store but thankfully asked the lq guy if I had just missed it.

    He informed me that they LEGALLY cannot sell MGD64 in the state of Colorado because of some screwy old grandfather law. Apparently MGD64 has less than 3.2% alcohol and this law prohibits the sale of anything below 3.2% beer unless it is the NA beer. What kind of horsedoodie is that!!!???

    I just looked into it and I guess it is 2.8% alcohol. No wonder it takes so many to get a buzz! ;o) But it is perfect for those evenings when I want to have a few after I get the rugrats in bed!

    This is my new beer of preference. I used to be a Smirnoff Ice kind of girl until the calories kept piling on. Now I will have a MGD 64 occasionally.

    Man, you have just got to LOVE a weight loss site that discusses beer! I love light beers like this too. I recently discovered Miller, chill although it's 100 calories. I will have to try this one and maybe the Michelob Orange Tuscan Grapefruit! Fancy!

    ooh, i MUST try this! i heard about it and thought, really? could it be good? cause i like my beer. i don't drink a lot, but i like the taste of beer so if i am going to drink, it's going to be something good. can't wait to try it!
