True Confessions – Christy

[ 14 ] 09/14/2009 |

I don’t think I’ve ever done a True Confessions post here at the Sisterhood. Imagine my surprise when I realized it was my turn. Ouch. I wish I could say, aw, I’m a  rockstar and I have nothing to confess, but I’m not, and I do.

  1. I haven’t done my EAS 30-Day Challenge all weekend. I’m ashamed. I feel terrible about missing so many days, but I will make them up, even if I have to workout 2 times a day for the next few days.
  2. I ate dessert this weekend. Twice. Well, I did share a single serving with my husband and 2 kids, but I was definitely feeling week.
  3. I made a Watergate Salad (don’t worry, I’ll share the recipe!), which was low in points/calories, but I ate more than I should have. This was in addition to the 2 other desserts I assisted/insisted on eating.
  4. I did not do so good with my water this weekend either.

Sheesh. I have alot of making up to do today and tomorrow if I want to pull off any kind of loss at all this week. I’ve been doing SO good since we started the Shrink for Good challenge, and I think I got a little cocky this weekend. It’s time for me to bitch slap myself back into the right frame of mind, for sure.

So tell me, do you have something you need to get off your chest? Have you slipped up a little over the past week? Well, go post about it on your blog. It will make you feel better!! I know I feel better getting it all out there for other people to read. Having all of you know about my slip ups makes me realize that I need to do better and make a more concerted effort to workout and eat right!

Post on your blog and leave your link, or just leave your confessions in the comments section.

FOCUS, FOCUS! Don't make me come to Texas and bitch slap you. Okay, I really do want to come to Texas so keep it up? ;p

Go drink a big glass of water. NOW. And workout.

i sucked this weekend. it was emotional, i was depressed, and didn't do anything.

so depressed in fact that i didn't eat a lot either.

i'm over it. this is a new week, and even though it technically began yesterday, i got up at 6 am to do my 4 mile run. no excuses.

    Girl, I hear you.
Hopefully the rocking out I did at the concert burned off the 2 smirnoff ices I shotgunned in the parking lot. :)
    Classy.

ok confessions, i did not count points this weekend.

it started out as not counting because i was carbo loading for sunday, but then after the tri (turned du) I ate anything/everything like ice cream cake and a filet with bleu cheese crust and mashed potatoes AND fries.

I know. Sometimes if I fall off it takes me a little more to get back on.

well you were just refueling after the race. or something like that :P

I ate dessert like twenty times this weekend! Also, I haven't forgotten about writing about pregnancy, I promise I am working on it!

Best way to catch up on your EAS Active is to do 3 days in a row for a couple of cycles. I got really behind my first time around and ended up finishing early by doing that. My confession:

I've had a really bad weekend here at home with family stuff, so I have no idea how I'm going to come out on Wednesday. I have been at least trying to exercise although it's only been about half of what i've been doing over the past few months. Eating has been kind of iffy at best. I feel like my “visitor” is coming but no real “signs” other than crampy, and back pain…who knows what will happen Wednesday!

    I swear I didn't read yours before I wrote mine…
