Hmm. This is kind of a hard one. I try to be the best person I can be when I outside of my house. I want my girls to know that you can give your best to those around you even when you don't feel like it. In other words, I'm paying it forward by trying to raise my girls to follow in the footsteps and be better people than I am sometimes.

Does this count ~ every time I size down I donate all my work clothes to a local women's shelter for job interviews and such. I give most of my casual stuff to a girlfriend who is also losing weight. Replacing clothes while losing weight can get darn expensive!

I pay it forward by mentoring kids at the elementary school where I teach. I also love paying for someone's meal - usually whoever is behind me in the drive thru - and drive off...just to make someone's day - that's always fun!! :)

I try to always put something in the Salvation Army bucket and since we did the Shrink for Good challenge, I keep a box in my basement and keep putting stuff in all month and then take the box up to the food pantry at the end of the month.

Hmm, how do I pay it forward? I think I generally try to be as nice as I can especially to strangers. I hold the door open for people (don't get me started on manners), I voluntter at school and with our community centre. One specific incident though I can't pick out right now.
