I pay it forward by mentoring kids at the elementary school where I teach. I also love paying for someone's meal – usually whoever is behind me in the drive thru – and drive off…just to make someone's day – that's always fun!! :)

Does this count ~ every time I size down I donate all my work clothes to a local women's shelter for job interviews and such. I give most of my casual stuff to a girlfriend who is also losing weight. Replacing clothes while losing weight can get darn expensive!

Hmm. This is kind of a hard one. I try to be the best person I can be when I outside of my house. I want my girls to know that you can give your best to those around you even when you don't feel like it. In other words, I'm paying it forward by trying to raise my girls to follow in the footsteps and be better people than I am sometimes.

I am always giving things away to people – both friends and people I meet for the first time. I never think that presents should be limited to holidays & birthdays – whenever I think of something a person would like, I pick it up & give it to them right away.
