Skinny Cow Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches = MMmmm

Usually, I do really well at controlling my sweet tooth.  I can go weeks without touching sweets.  And then there are certain times (of the month) when I crave sweets.  Specifically, ice cream.

So this last certain time when I was craving ice cream I happened to be in Target. (Not Super Target, just regular Target.  No Super Target here.  Boo.)  The craving hit and I marches myself right over to the tiny little grocery section they have and was going straight for the good bad stuff.  Then I saw the brand “Skinny Cow” ice cream.

Now, the little devil in me was saying, “Screw the healthy stuff, April, get the Ben and Jerry’s.”  But I fought that little devil and chose the ice cream sandwiches.  With only 140 calories per sandwich, how could I go wrong?

They come with either vanilla or chocolate ice cream, or you can get the combo pack, which is what I did.  I’m not sure about you, but most of the time when ice cream is advertised as low fat, you can tell the difference.  Not with these.  The cookie parts were excellent and the ice cream was really good!    I especially enjoyed the chocolate ones! (I did try flavors.  In one day.  Hey, I did it for you guys!)

So, the next time you’re in the freezer section of the grocery store, why don’t you give them a try? Don’t they look good???

The strawberry ice cream sandwiches and the caramel cones are lifesavers. They have kept me from jumping off the sweet tooth cliff more times than I would like to admit. I also really like the Weight Watchers giant fudge bars.

I love the Skinny Cow mini fudge bars. They are only 50 calories and just enough to take the edge off when you are craving sweets.
  • I LOVE Skinny Cow! So.Much. I so love the peanut butter chocolate sandwiches but they taste kind of weird at first and then they're heavenly. yum!

I tried the ice cream when I visited Nestle, delicious! I will be adding this to my menu during that time of the month.
