True Confessions!

[ 18 ] 02/16/2010 |

Good morning all!  It’s Tuesday and ya’ll know what that means.  Time to confess!  Did you eat tons of Valentine’s Day candy?!  Let us know!

Here are mine!

1.  It’s been a long time since I’ve confessed, so that’s a confession in itself, no?

2.  Being the single gal that I am, I spent Valentine’s Day right here on my couch and I did indulge in a, ahem, few glasses of wine.

3.  I may or may not have eaten a spoonful of frosting at my mom’s house over the weekend.

4.  Okay, fine I had two spoonfuls, but I did run that day!  In the cold.  So there.

5.  I also stayed in bed until about noon on Saturday.

6. Running this week was super hard for me.  I wanted every single second to just quit.  But I didn’t.

7.  I want to love running, but it just hasn’t hit me yet.  Maybe one day.

So, I guess that’s it!

What do you have to confess?  Let’s hear it!

Glad you're seeing the running through. Maybe after SD you can move on in a new direction, something that appeals more to you. Or, just maybe, by then you'll have come to love it too!

You wanted to quit, but you DIDN'T QUIT! That's fantastic. The realization is you might never love running, but as long as you keep showing up, that's the most important thing. Great job! Keep up the good work…frosting or not! :-)

Okay, I was trying to hide it!
I did not want to admit it!
It was something I thought would go away, but it has not.

I ate an apple this weekend. It was a honeycrisp

yes, i'm with yous guys, still trying to feel the run love. i try, i really do.
anyhoo, not posting confessions today (is lazy a confession?) but i'll air them here.
first, I didn't count points. Total suck. And for no good reason!
I didn't completely stuff my face, but I did have some candy on V-Day and a LOT OF WINE. Because my husband was gone all week and he left me all alone with sick fevery kids and by the time the weekend came, I wanted to kill myself and also his flights were canceled and my weekend was blown, so when he got back we had wine and ordered veal parm from our italian takeout place and it was very very good. and on monday i found a wayward bag of ghirardelli chocolate chips and opened it.
however, i did workout like a madwoman last week and actually don't remember my last day off! which is both good and bad! tata ladies, see you on weigh in day!
