Hello to all our Sisters (and Brothers – we know you’re out there)! How was your week? Are you still going hot and heavy with the losses, or do you feel like your floundering a little bit? Me? I’m on a little bit of a detour right now myself. I kinda fessed up to how I’m feeling yesterday in my True Confessions post.

Several of us had the unique pleasure of meeting Ben at Fitbloggin’. He was really, really nice, and as self-proclaimed “former fat guy”, had some really great insights. Plus, he was hilarious, which in my book, is better than just about anything else. He wrote a little ditty over at Miz Fit’s (who is so, so nice) site, and one particular paragraph really jumped out at me, so I thought I would share it with you:

“Momentum is just that. Moving in the right direction. You keep making progress (even when you don’t). Hit a little bump in the road? Put on 2 pounds this week (after you’ve lost 20 overall)? You didn’t lose momentum, and it’s not the end of the world. You just took a slight detour. Saw some sights. Keep driving forward.”

Hop on over to the bathroom scales, strip down, exhale as hard as you can (you know I’m kidding right? That doesn’t really make a difference!), and step on. Look down and tell us what you see! Are you shrinking? Go on and blog about it, and come back here and link up. Let us know how you’re doing with your losses, but also let us know how you’re momentum is. Are you moving along at a nice clip, or are you taking the scenic route right now. If you’re on the scenic route, do we need to give you a map, or can you find your way back?
