I love Tuesdays! Especially here at Shrinking Jeans. I love that we get to do a little bragging about the awesome things that we have done in the past week. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s a huge shot in the arm. It gets me pumped about the coming week and what I can do to make the post next week.
This week, I am proud to say that I finished Mel’s Summer Walk Challenge and did an awesome job. The goal was to walk no less than one mile a day from Memorial Day to the 4th of July. I did just that and finished with a total of 77.6 miles. I think that’s pretty good. Did any of you join in this challenge? I loved it! I love having insentives to keep me moving. If I know I have to do something every day to be eligible for prizes, I keep going.
We leave Saturday on vacation to a lakehouse we rent with my sister and her family every year. I’m wondering if I am going to have something to write in here next week. I guess that choice is up to me. Being on a lake, I could walk every morning with beautiful scenery to look at. I could do exercises in the water. I could do exercises in the house when everybody else is in the boat or on the dock fishing. I could chase the grandkids from sun up to sundown. Ahh, I think I could have something to put in here next week, don’t you?
