Welcome to our brand new weight loss challenge, Spring Into Action (#springintoaction)! We’re knocking on Spring’s door, and far enough away from January 1st, that most of you have long forgotten those new year’s resolutions you made. Mmmmmmhmmmmm…..yeeeah…..you remember those pesky little goals you made, right? Like losing weight, eating better, and exercising? Yeah *cough cough*.
So, because we want to help you stay on track, and we want to you to REACH your goals, we’re reminding you now, and we’re hosting this weight loss challenge for the next 6 weeks. This challenge runs from today until April 23rd. No excuses. Let’s do it.
This challenge also happens to be a team challenge! Hopefully you saw our post last week and you’ve rounded up all your friends and created a team of up to 5 members. If you haven’t, it’s okay! You are still welcome to throw together a team today….it can be you and one other person. But you have to check in by noon tomorrow to be eligible for prizes. And make sure you take a picture of your scale with your starting weight. You can hang on to it now, no need to submit it to us until the end when you win! But we want you to have it so we can verify.
So here’s what you need to do to be part of our weight loss challenge:
- Weigh in this morning, and take a picture of your scale (save it for later).
- Get together with your team and add all of your weights together (make sure you double-check your numbers) so you have one total weight.
- Come up with a team name. Get creative!!
- Check-in on the form below no later than tomorrow, March 13th, at NOON central time. No exceptions.
This week’s Mini-Challenge
The whole point of being part of a team is to lift each other up, and hold each other accountable. My challenge to you this week is for YOU to come up with a challenge for your team. Your challenge could be to exercise for a certain amount of time, to drink water, or to take pictures of all of your food. Whatever you want it to be! Next week I want to hear all about your personal challenge, and whether you’ve stuck with it. Keep in touch with your team daily via emails, phone calls, texts, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs, etc. You’ve go no excuse for not keeping each other in check this week.
