It’s time to get those abs looking fab this June! This month, our free monthly workout calendar is a 30-Day Ab Challenge in the form of everyone’s favorite… crunches! Hold the applause, please. We know you are soooo excited! You should be, since you will be showing off your six-pack in no time!
The month will vary intensity on each day, and some days will be much harder than others. Rest days are provided every five days to give you a chance to let your muscles recoup. As with all of our monthly workout calendars, these daily exercises are intended to supplement your current fitness routine. Make sure to check with your doctor before beginning any fitness routine!
Stay aware of your form at all times! It’s quality, not quantity that counts. If you find the daily total too difficult to achieve, just do as many as you can, or break it up into smaller sets. Think the challenge is too easy? Try doing the challenge TWICE a day! This workout is for YOU. Challenge yourself, but not to the point of injury.
Feel free to mix up the type of crunches you perform… bicycle, oblique, reverse. Boredom is not an option and neither is quitting! Check out this post by the Fitnessista for several different crunch variations!
