What: Run the ‘Hood 2011 Virtual 5K/10K Race (view the kick-off post!)
When: Saturday, October 22nd, 2011.
Where: Everywhere! You can map your own course, you choose… 3.1 miles or 6.2! Got kids? Register them for a 5K or 1-mile Fun Run!
Who: Anyone from anywhere! All ages, abilities, walkers, runners, woggers… everyone can participate!
How: First, you probably want to take a look at this super-informative post that will answer most of your questions! Secondly, you will need to register on the official Race Event Page.

the competition other runners and walkers!

When will I get my race tee? Race tees will mailed out in time for you to wear on race day!
What will they look like? See below!
Contests? Prizes? WHAT?! Yes! Contest for free (or refunded) registration runs through August 30th and another contest for a $50 Amazon gift card and free registration runs through September 22nd. All the details can be found here!
When does registration end? Registration will end at the end of the day on September 22nd, 2011.
Can I register late? Nope. Sorry. Once registration is closed, it’s closed. We need to get the t-shirt order into the printers so that everyone can get their tees in time for race day!
What about race results? After you finish your race, we will have a form to fill out with your race distance and time! Results will be separated into age brackets and published the following week!
Age brackets: Men’s and Women’s will be separate, ages as follows:
60 and over:
12 and under
I live for race bling, please tell me I will get a medal! You got it! When you fill out the form after your race, you ensure that a medal will be awaiting you!
