Weigh In Wednesday – SFG Week 6

We’re in the home stretch, folks!

We’ve only got one more week in the Shrink For Good challenge.  Are you close to your goals?

Go hop on the scale and let us know how you did!  Then show us your cans!  (I feel so naughty saying that…giggle!)

Our latest exercise challenge started on Monday!  We are training for a 5K run.  Several of us are doing the new EAS 5K Challenge, a few of us are following the Couch 2 5K program.  You choose what works for you.  Several of us are planning on running a race on the weekend of November 7th.

Did you know that Sunday, November 8th is World Run Day?  Won’t you join us in a run?

    Good morning girls!!! Well, no change this week but I was sick and didn't work out (or count points, gah!)

    I weighed in at 173.6 today.

    I am not losing anything because I have slacked off. I restarted my running 3.5 miles 4 days a week (when weather permits) and I am doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred Mon-Sat. I also am restarting Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet for what feels like the 600th time. Hope I keep stay motivated. It's bee a REAL struggle.

    Um…I'm up. I knew I'd be up. I've begun exercising which is good but my eating has been crummy. I've been on a binge. I wrote about it a little on true confessions Monday. It's okay. I'm patting myself on the back for joining the 5k challenge and actually working at it this week. Now I've got to reign in the eating again. I wrote about it on my personal blog.

    I woke up this morning, stepped on the scale and decided to start phase 1 of SB again too! It starts today. No waiting. Just doing. We can do this! I know it feels like the 600th time. I even labeled my post the “billionth”. We can win this battle of the bulge!

    I'm down 2. I forgot to weigh in last week. Total, I am down to 151 from 158, so I've lost 7lbs! This gives me a little motivation to kick it up a bit. I could be eating much better. I could be exercising a bit more. Good job this week, everyone!

    Wow, I have been so absent and I apologize. I skipped out on reporting last week. I'm not doing as well as I'd hoped, but I'm still holding. The 5k challenge sounds cool. I'll have to check it out!

    No change this week, which isn't great, but I'll take it. (Why is it, when kids wake you up in the middle of the night, they go back to sleep right away and I'm the one who lays awake and ends up zonked the next day? %-P )

    i know how you feel! except its with my husband. he comes to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning, and of course falls asleep right away. if i wake up it takes me a while to get back to sleep.

    Not the best week. Minimal exercise, other than walking. I feel like if I don't break a major sweat, it doesn't really count. My weight this week: 160.0, up from 159.4 (.6 lbs).

    No-I don't think the roller coaster ever slows down…lol….it just gets bumpier and throws in a few inversions to keep you guessing. My life is the same, except my kids are older, so it's volleyball and gymnastics, karate and lego robotics, church, homework, and maybe some exercise for me in front of a dvd because there is no time left in the day to get to the gym (it is too cold and dark now in Michigan to go outside and run before or after I get home). Great job on the loss this week, and you are right, losing another 4.5 next week probably isn't realistic, but any loss would be a loss to celebrate (along with your kids's birthdays).

    I forgot to weigh in on Wednesday – not really – just forgot to post it. I am up one pound again, so that is a gain of 5 since the challenge started. Of course, the scale is still acting weird so I don't know if that is a correct number or not. I think the house is lopsided, but I do feel heavier but not sure how much heavier…exactly. Am I making sense??
