How are my new habits coming along?
Let’s just say, I’m doing okay. Just okay. Still giving myself a C+.
The running is going great. I completed the 25 minute run in the C25K yesterday. I was a sweaty, huffing mess, BUT a happy mess at that. A few months ago I would have laughed in your face if you’d told me I would be able to run 25 minutes straight.
I slipped once on eating after 9 pm. Last night. I was starving. I made a good food choice at least – high fiber cereal. Yummy? Not so much. What I really wanted was that loaf of double chocolate zucchini bread in the freezer. It implores me as I open up the door for ice cubes – eat me! Please! I will have freezer burn soon. I am delicious!
Even though this week has been a little crazy, I am thrilled to report that I have not been through a drive through (only a coffee stand, for an iced americano) for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! I don’t miss the food, but I miss the convenience. But it is better for me, and better for my kiddo.
And the last two habits, well, I’m totally biting the big one. Seriously. I have a mental block against water. I find myself chugging as much as I possibly can before bed because I forgot all day. Which is incredibly stupid because I have to get up to pee all night like a pregnant woman.
The 100 crunches per day? Uh. No comment. Still sporting a little front butt.
But hey, three out of five ain’t bad! And it’s showing on the scale. Down again this week! Only .2 pounds, but the scale is moving in the right direction.
