I started this challenge at 136 and today I weighed in at 135.2. Am I happy? Heck yeah! It makes me feel great to be going into Thanksgiving, one of the eatiest holidays in the book, down. It gives me the encouragement and momentum I need to keep everything in check tomorrow. I know I can conquer this holiday with discipline and smart choices. I can do this!
I’ve done pretty good with my exercise, not GREAT since I was still nursing a little tendinitis in my foot, but I’m happy with the 200 minutes I logged. I know I will be ramping it up this week! It started this morning with the most intense bootcamp I’ve ever done. My trainer pulled out all the stops and really kicked our butts in preparation for the big day tomorrow. WOW. I’ve never felt like puking at bootcamp, but today I almost did, and it was awesome! Tomorrow I plan to get out for a little run before I get to cooking, and Friday I’ll be getting up and heading to bootcamp again!
This week’s fitness challenge is to log the minutes, and I’m planning to have a HUGE number next week. The non-fitness challenge is to drink tons of water, and I know that’s going to be key for me. Drinking water keeps my body hydrated and keep the holiday bloat taking over.
