True Confessions, It’s time to be honest – The Shrinking Jeans of Christy

Holy shit. The past month and a half have been so stressful. Right now? I’m glistening with sweat after finally, FINALLY, getting back to bootcamp. I’m noodle arms and jello legs, and at the same time I am invigorated. Energized. Feeling AMAZING. (why do I not do this every.single.day of my life when I know it’s going to make me feel so good?)

I have gained 8 pounds. EIGHT POUNDS.

Clearly I got a little to comfortable (read: lazy) with my maintenance mode and just went buck wild. Clearly.

Hi-ho. Hi-ho. It’s back to Weight Watchers I go.

As of today, I am counting points (apparently they changed the program since I last logged in. *snort*). I am counting points again mostly because all the super-cute clothes I bought last month are tight, and I donated all the not-so-super-cute bigger clothes last month. So basically, I have nothing to wear, and since I don’t live in a nudist colony and it’s not really appropriate to wear sweats when it’s 100 degrees, I have to do something.

I also confess that I have really slacked off on running which makes me very sad. I ran a 1/2 marathon on April 16 and since then I’ve run 4x. I do NOT want to lose my level of running fitness and have to start from near scratch. I need to get out and run. No excuses.

So that’s it in a nutshell. I’ve gained weight, stopped working out regularly, and just gotten complacent. Don’t let this happen to you

I can do this.
