Check-ity Check-In – The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans LLC



Good Wednesday morning lovely people! How are you? Me? I’m sore as……shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone! After taking THREE weeks off from boot camp, for no good reason other than I just didn’t feel like going, I had family in town, and my trainer was out of town, I returned yesterday. I’m sure you can imagine how I’m feeling.

Like I got caught red-handed in a dark alley with a jelly donut by Jillian Michaels.

I am SORE.

Taking three weeks off from exercise is never a good idea, nor is there any excuse for it (unless you just had a baby, or have broken every bone in your body). Taking that much time off only leads to other bad habits like: ice cream sundaes too often, excessive sitting, drinking lots of beer, water avoidance, and weight gain. A downright abomination, not unlike Peyton Manning leaving the Colts (but, yay for Denver). Oy.

Enough about me already. How are YOU doing? *side -_- eyes* It’s not a challenge week, but we want to hear all about your scale successes and non-scale victories! *Guess what? TODAY we are kicking off Run The Hood Registration – Our Virtual 5K & 10K.
