As difficult as it is to believe, Thanksgiving is now less than two weeks away for those of us here in the U.S. How is that even possible?! This year has just flown by it seems. Given it’s so close, it’s definitely time to start thinking about Thanksgiving cooking and menu planning.
For those of you who are planning on having a healthy Thanksgiving, this post may help you out. I’ve been checking lots of recipe and cooking website over the past week or so collecting holiday recipe ideas. Specifically, I’ve been on a quest to find healthy versions of some classic holiday favorites. I thought I would share them here to save all of you the time of searching. I’m a giver like that.
Special Dietary Needs:
Will you be planning a healthy Thanksgiving? Or, will you take the day off and not worry about calories, fat, etc.? If you do the latter, remember that it’s Thanksgiving DAY. Get right back on track with your healthy eating habits the next day and don’t let one day off track turn into two, three, a week, etc.
