Top o’ the morning to ya! We are just overflowing with awesome challenges, announcements and events the past few days, and today shall be no different! For the past few years, we have put on two virtual races. Due to the overwhelming popularity and success to our Virtual 5K/10K race series, we are hosting THREE races in 2014! Today we are announcing the Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K/Mile Run and Walk to be held on Sunday, March 16th, 2014. Whether you are a runner, jogger, or a walker -this race is for you!
Are you ready for the luckiest race of the year? One filled with rainbows and gold and clovers? We are going IRISH with our Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K/Fun Run! Who knows… Maybe you will find a pot of gold at the finish line! We thought it would be pretty golden to donate a portion of our proceeds to charity -last fall, we donated $341 to the Susan G. Komen fund, and this time we’ve decided to support our heroes and donate 10% of our proceeds to the Wounded Warrior project!
Race registration opens RIGHT NOW and will remain open until February 14th, 2014. Why do we close registration so far ahead of time? Well, that’s because we have some kick-ass race tees and medals that we need to print and ship to you ahead of time, so that you can show them off come race day!
What: Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K/Mile Run & Walk: A Run the ‘Hood Virtual Race
When: Sunday, March 16th -any time of day!
Where: Everywhere! You can map your own course, you choose… running or walking, 3.1 miles or 6.2! Got kids? Register them for a 5K or 1-mile Fun Run! Have a local race planned that day? Great! Double down!
Who: Anyone from anywhere! All ages, abilities, walkers, runners, woggers… everyone can participate! We love our running groups and can offer a discount to your group of 5 or more! Email us for more info!

When will I get my race tee? Race tees will mailed out in time for you to wear on race day! We are hoping to do the same with the finisher’s medals! **international participants tees/medals/swag cannot be guaranteed to arrive before race day. Sorry.
What will they look like? The shirts will be eerily amazing! A super soft tri-blend tee with ghostly graphics! Women -SIZE UP! They tend to run small! Men’s are true to size! Youth and 3XL shirts will be 100% cotton and run true to size also.

When does registration end? Registration will end on Friday, February 14th, 2014. Why so much earlier than race day? See below!
Can I register late? Nope. Sorry. Once registration is closed, it’s closed. We need to get the t-shirt order into the printers so that everyone can get their tees in time for race day!
Can I order extra tees? Yes! You will want more than one. They are that awesome. Each extra shirt will be $18.
What about race results? After you finish your race, we will have a form to fill out with your race distance and time! Results will be separated into age brackets and published the following week!
Age brackets: Men’s and Women’s will be separate, ages as follows:
60 and over: 50-59 40-49 30-39 20-29 13-19
12 and under
